Fenway. (Go Yankees. Sorry Dad.)

These photos were taken while I was in Boston. I toured Fenway Stadium, which proved to be full of interesting, fun facts.

Before the Green Monster was built there use to be a line of restaurants and bars that allowed people to watch the games for free over the small fence. So the Red Sox owner, Mr. Yawkey, had the Green Monster built. This was "one of the most dramatic overreactions in baseball" according to the Fenway tour guide. Also on the Green Monster are a series of broken lines that can be found just under "American League". These broken lines are Morse code that spell "TAY" and "JRY", which are the initials of Mr. Yawkey and his wife.

The Red Sox's Mickey Mouse was vandalized ending in his arm being broken. The Red Sox's applied a bandage around his arm until he was fixed, then placed him inside the stadium.
